The mammalian homologues of Drosophila otd are expressed in the same pattern as that of Drosophila otd during early development. However, the mechanisms that establish this expression pattern remain unknown. Here we have studied the regulation of otd and the homeobox gene Hmx1 expression during cerebellar development. In the mouse otd mRNA is expressed in the external granule layer at E14.5, at the beginning of the primary afferent fiber growth period. This expression continues until postnatal day 7 (P7). In contrast, during this period Hmx1 RNA is not detected in the cerebellum. Running a COM server using a “main” thread

I am developing a COM server. I have a thread that makes a call to one of my functions, and my function does this:
someObj->SomeMethod(params);

However I am running into threading issues. More specifically, an exception occurs when the call happens while the main thread is busy (thinking about it, though I’m not 100% sure if this is where the exception is being thrown).
Is there a way to “join” the thread (they are all STA threads) while calling a method like this? I could read it from a message queue, but I’d rather keep it simple for the moment.

You’ve got a couple of options.
If you have control over someObj, make it either

an instance of a class that uses Thread-locals and locks its own critical section, or
an instance of a class that isn’t in the thread-local or thread-specific class, and one that has a global critical section that uses someObj->SomeMethod.

If you don’t have control over someObj, and you’re limited to a single thread, you’re out of luck.

The enzymatic conversion of telomerase, human recombinant protein is obtained and the biological activity of it is not lost.
